Happy Holidays from the Intranetizen team

As 2014 comes to a close, we wanted to say thank you to all of you who have visited the site over the past year.  Some of you may have noticed we haven’t been posting as often; life, work (secondments to Asia, SharePoint upgrades and increased responsibility) and collaboratively managing a site upgrade (we of course are following what we preach) have preoccupied us this year.

Next year will see a new site, which includes a new look and logo, which we are very excited to share. Our launch will not be a big bang, but a long wow, so be prepared to see little enhancements throughout 2015.

Before we say goodbye to 2014, let’s revisit our 15 most popular posts (of all time):

  1. 10 Characteristics of a great intranet
  2. Intranet metrics & KPIs – only measure what you mean to act upon
  3. What’s in an intranet name
  4. 10 Intranet features that really should exist
  5. 10 laws for intranet managers
  6. Should Sharepoint 2013 be on your #intranet roadmap?
  7. Intranet launch strategies: an idiot’s guide
  8. Five reasons why carousels have no place on your intranet
  9. 10 more #intranet features that really should exist
  10. Are these the ten best intranets of 2013?
  11. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for intranet managers
  12. 14 signs you’ve lost the #intranet plot
  13. It’s back: 10 more signs you’re losing the #intranet plot

We wish you lovely break and a Happy Holidays and New Year!

See you in January for another great year of thought provoking, sarcastic and challenging posts, but most of all a new site!

The “10 things to do / avoid / copy / be aware of” posts are always popular! Thanks for all your input. It’s much appreciated – and often quoted at group meetings in our network. Keep up the good work!
