Digital Impact Awards
The Digital Impact Awards seeks to honour the best corporate digital communications work in Europe. It’s been running for a number of years now and covers a range of internal, external and social communication channels.
There are two categories that would be best placed to receive intranet entries: Best Intranet and Best Digital Employee Communication. A full list of categories can be found here.
Entries opens in April and curiously have two closing deadlines: early birds by 11 June, late entry by 9 July. Entries received early will get a discount. Details of how to enter are available here. These awards cost £295 per entry but with scaled costs depending on the number of submissions. Shortlisting will happen in August and the winners will be announced at a slap up awards dinner in October.
All previous winners feature on their Hall of Fame. There are now 4 types of winner – Highly Commendable, Bronze, Silver and Gold winners. It’s worth noting that these are benchmarked standards ie. there may not be a Gold winner.
- Easy to enter
- Single intranet category gives focus
- Cost. Ouch.
- Overall award focus is on external digital hence lower reputation score
